My name is Ariel Piermont. I am an audio engineer based in Montreal, originally from Paris France.

My journey to audio began with the study of jazz piano. This led me to Toronto and the Harris Institute for the Arts where I graduated from the Audio Production Program.

It is at the Harris Institute that from music, I became interested in audio post production and video game sound design, under the supervision of Yuri Gorbachow, renowned Music editor and Johnny Lucas, sound designer at Ubisoft Toronto.

After Graduating from the Harris Institute in Toronto, I had the chance to work as an assistant engineer at RHC Music Toronto, under the supervision of Ross Hayes Citrullo a 2x JUNO Award Nominated Producer, Mixer, Engineer and Emmy® Award Winning Re-Recording Mixer.

I am currently a freelance engineer for a variety of podcasts and a sound designer on Project Evivrus, a multi player First Person Shooter.

In the past year I have also worked on multiple projects with credits such as mix engineer, recording engineer, re-recording engineer, and ADR engineer.

Outside of the audio sphere, I am an avid woodworker and skateboarder. I find that these universes are very similar to sound design and audio post production. It is a mix of the same ingredients : creativity, dedication, meticulousness and passion.
